Fullbringers are spiritually-aware Humans born with the eponymous ability Fullbring, which allows them to manipulate the souls that reside in all physical matter. Their powers are constituted by Hollow energy.

Like all spiritually aware Humans, Fullbringers can sense the Reiryoku of other spiritual beings, such as Hollows, Shinigami, and other Fullbringers. However, they differ in that they each have a parent who survived a Hollow attack before they were born. As a result, traces of the Hollows’ power remained in their mothers’ bodies, which were then passed onto them at the moment of their birth. Consequentially, their powers more closely resemble a Hollow’s than those of a Shinigami.

Their ability, called Fullbring, enables them to manipulate the souls contained within matter. Everything, even rudimentary objects such as lampposts and chairs possess a soul, however small. By using their power to “pull” on this soul, Fullbringers can manipulate the object's movement or even alter its physical characteristics. For example, Fullbringers could have a beverage assist them in drinking it by pulling on its soul, drawing it into their mouth. Likewise, by pulling on the soul of water, Fullbringers can walk across its surface without falling through. Many more feats are possible, making the technique highly versatile. Unlike other spiritual beings, Fullbringers use their power with their physical bodies. Because of this, they must train extensively to build up their stamina so they can use it properly.

While all Fullbringers are born with this power, the age at which they come to realize it varies. When Fullbringers die, all traces of their abilities disappear from the world. However, they do carry their abilities into the afterlife.

By developing an affinity for a particular object, a Fullbringer can alter its form, granting powers that vary greatly among individuals. This affinity can be defined by one’s love for the object in question, or simply by an overall fondness for it. As such, this power is usually awakened through a strong emotion associated with the object, such as pride. Using this affinity, Fullbringers pull out the object’s soul and boost it with their own, transforming it in the process. For example, Kūgo Ginjō can change the saltire pendant on his necklace into a large claymore. While Fullbringers typically have an affinity with one such object, it is possible to have many.

Once a Fullbringer has fully realized this power, its abilities cannot and do not change through growth. However, Fullbringers must progress to a certain level before they can use their unique abilities to their fullest. As such, a Fullbring's various developmental stages can look radically different from its final form, and can thus be considered “incomplete.” When the Fullbring's potential is fully realized and it progresses to its final form, it releases a violent burst of energy that can potentially damage its user’s body. Because of this, another Fullbringer is typically required to oversee the process, and to prevent the recently completed Fullbring from injuring its user by suppressing the explosion.

A Fullbring's unique power largely depends on the object that is used as a focus. In addition to souls, material objects also possess memories. As its holder experiences various events, the object experiences them as well; the memories are engraved onto its soul each time it is touched. Because of this, Fullbringers who had a considerable amount of battle experience prior to awakening their power have stronger Fullbrings.

The levels of a Fullbringer's power more closely resemble that of a Quincy than either the Hollow or Shinigami- as instead of a myriad of attacks and abilities, a Fullbringer has a single special ability that increases in completion through its ranks. As stated, it doesn't so much "grow in power", but rather starts off incomplete and unlocks its full potential with training.

The Fullbringers have the lowest number of skills overall but have the most, out of any race, possibility with what exactly their powers can do as long as it follows the general theme they have set for themselves.

The ranks of the Fullbringer Humans go as such and are detailed below.

After it is unlocked your Fullbring does not need to be added to your item list as it will be in your ability list and is counted as on you at all times unless otherwise stated.


Humans that have slowly started to react to the power hidden inside of them, Spiritually Aware Fullbringers have nothing incredibly special about them- that is, compared to the other races. Compared to normal humans, though, they're leagues above, able to see and interact with the spiritual planes casually. They can also fight at a higher tier than what a normal human would be capable of.

You might actually be able to do something semi-productive at this Rank- Awakened Fullbringers begin to put up a semblance of a fight, at least once they unlock their special power after 1,000 words of training in a topic. The Fullbringer's Fullbring is limitless in its potential with no exact confines on what it can accomplish and makes them a force to be reckoned with, even at this low of a power level.

Now you're starting to show some mastery over your Fullbring; you could actually start calling yourself a Fullbringer. Soldiers have the speed and power to keep up with the other races at this point and maybe have a fair fight, if they try hard enough. It helps to keep your Fullbring updated with your rising Rank- wouldn't want you to fall too much more behind.

You might be able to take on some seated Shinigami and Menos Grande. I won't give a recommendation on Quincy, but hey, you're both still technically human and that's still technically murder. Not that you'd have too much trouble escaping from jail as an Activist. You're still a little behind the immortal races but you can fight, that's for sure, and as long as your Fullbring is up to speed you will be as well.

All that training is starting to pay off. You've stuck with it this long and you're being rewarded for that fact; Adjuchas, Lieutenant Class Shinigami, you name it, you're ready to show everyone what you're made of and make a lasting impression on the world and all your enemies. If you've found any other Fullbringers they likely look up to you as a Survivor- it's your turn to fight and stop leaving all the big fish to the other races. Are you even human anymore?

The peak of evolution, an Executor, or Xcutor, Fullbringer has reached a status that not many could keep up with. Maybe you would have been better off dying a long time ago so you didn't have to endure all these hardships, but hey, you've made it now and you're ready to make the world face your wrath. Xcutor Fullbringers have access to the ability Ascension; literally, for a short while, making yourself into a God of whatever your ability theme was to begin with. You might not want to challenge the whole of Hueco Mundo or the Soul Society by yourself even now, but you might be able to throw a group together and start wrecking shit.
