General Description: A young African-American adult. His posture is very slack, as he is often seen sanding slouched backwards. His head is usually tilted back, sneering. He wears plain, square rimmed glasses, the frames made of black plastic. His attire ranges from baggy clothes, when in the human world, to the standard black and white robes of the Seireitei world. His hairstyle is a combination of short dreadlocks along the top of his scalp, with cornrows lining the sides and back.

Personality: He is quite hot-blooded, determined, headstrong and passionate, especially in battle. He can sometimes be inflexible, and loses his temper around others when his feelings get the better of him, especially when his friends get involved. However, he is not too proud to apologize if he does lose his temper. He is tough and resilient in fights, and is not afraid of fighting, even when he is outnumbered. In fact, he enjoys fighting, seeing it as a challenge, and can be quite competitive. He does not care about finesse in fighting, as long as he wins in the end. He is quite direct when it comes to telling people how he feels and can be quite aggressive to those he considers his enemy. He is very loyal to his team and his friends, and would even disobey orders and face danger head-on in order to help them. He understands his friends quite well, and always cheers them up when they are down, but also respects their pride and sometimes chooses to step back when he feels that his friends do not need his help.
Likes: He likes having close friends, who he can talk to and rely on. He likes music. Likes people with a sense of humor, and who can have a fun time together. Likes to tease and play around with his friends. Really likes upbeat people, who can keep calm and stay positive; people who have a lot of optimism. As going with music, he likes to rap and sing from time to time.
Dislikes:  Dislikes sitting still and doing nothing. Considers technical conversations and strategies to be quite boring. Doesn't like people who insult their friends, or people who think they do not need friends. He really dislikes people who have bad attitudes, who are always negative about things, and can't seem to cheer up at all. He dislikes bullies, people who think they are better than others, and "high and mighty" personalities.

History: Growing up in the outskirts of Seireitei, he had to grow into the person he was today. That meant a lot of sacrifices, a lot of friends dying from the rough outskirts. Times were hard on them, with barely any food or drink to get by. But, Grizz always found a way - somehow. Sometimes, he'd go without so his friends could have something. But, he never stopped trying to climb his way to the top. He would live his life tending to those around him, trying to help in any way he could to ease their pain and their bad lives. This usually ended up with Grizz getting into some kind of confrontation to either protect them from harm, or using the only money he had to get them something that would save their lives - if only for another day. He was their guardian, their guide in this world. He strove to bring equality to his sector, and would try to keep it peaceful no matter how hard, no matter what it took from him. During this time, he found a power within himself, that would eventually lead him to the Shinigami Soul Reaper academy, and his life at the outskirts behind. But he wouldn't forget it. Every spare chance he had, he would go back to help and tend to the ones who lives in his area. Grizz was a laid back, good, kind hearted individual. Currently, Grizz is very new to the Shinigami ordeal, but he is a quick learner. Though he is kind hearted, he doesn't allow himself to be taken advantage of. Upon graduation of the academy, he was placed into a division [to be assigned later?], and was given the chance to finally make something of his life. Not only that, but given the chance to become someone his old friends could truly look up to for protection and guidance. Now, Grizz is currently kicking back and relaxing in the division barracks,trying to make a new life and meet new friends..
